About Us
Our story
At Krah Grande Borneo Sdn Bhd, we believe that reliable infrastructure is the foundation of thriving communities and a safer world. The world relies on strong foundations—quite literally—to keep cities moving, water flowing, and people safe.
In 2016, when a massive sinkhole opened up in Fukuoka, Japan, exposing a tangled network of underground pipes and cables, the world watched in shock. What surprised us even more, however, was the remarkable efficiency of the Japanese repair team, who restored the area within just six days. The speed and precision of this restoration were so inspiring that our director, Mr. Daniel, tasked our engineers with studying the feat. What secrets lay behind their success?
As our engineers pored over time-lapse footage and repair data, they noticed something peculiar: there was no sign of concrete pipes in the sinkhole. Instead, we spotted large, black, helical-profile pipes. These weren’t just any pipes—they were KRAH pipes. Light, resilient, and remarkably strong, KRAH pipes have a unique engineering design that ensures high performance under stress, including the types of seismic events that can devastate traditional materials like concrete.

Innovating Infrastructure with KRAH Technology
KRAH pipes quickly became a cornerstone of our mission at Krah Grande Borneo. Manufactured to meet rigorous standards, including DIN 16961, EN 13476, ASTM F894, ISO 21138, and ISO 4427, KRAH pipes are the future of reliable and efficient infrastructure. Compared to conventional concrete culverts, KRAH pipes offer unmatched durability against seismic activity, corrosion, and wear. Their lightweight structure eliminates the need for extensive earthworks and supports, while their resilience ensures a lifespan of up to 100 years.
Using electro-fusion technology, KRAH pipes are joined to achieve a watertight seal, eliminating the risk of leaks that can lead to sinkholes or environmental contamination. These properties make them ideal for sewer, drainage, and water transmission applications, where safety, reliability, and environmental protection are paramount.

Building a Safer, Greener Future
KRAH pipes not only promise structural integrity but also support a safer environment. For water transmission lines, they maintain water purity from treatment to destination, thanks to an inert polymer composition that resists contamination. By maintaining water quality and preventing leaks, KRAH pipes reduce the issue of non-revenue water and protect natural resources.
Installing KRAH pipes is faster and safer than installing traditional pipes. Their light weight means less heavy equipment on-site, smaller trenches, and a minimized impact on surrounding flora and fauna. These advantages are especially valuable in urban areas, where fast, efficient installations reduce traffic disruptions and preserve local ecosystems.
Our Commitment to Quality and Community
At Krah Grande Borneo, we place the highest priority on product quality, client satisfaction, and user safety. We hold certifications from Watermarks Certification (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, and our products are approved by the Sarawak State Water Authority, reflecting our commitment to stringent quality standards.

Vision for the Future
Our vision is to offer a greener future with eco-friendly culvert, gravity, and water transmission pipes. We aim to support infrastructure development with cost-effective, durable, and innovative solutions that exceed industry benchmarks. As we look ahead, we are dedicated to playing our part in building communities that are safer, more resilient, and environmentally sustainable.
